Over the summer of 2018, Zidan Li worked as a visiting undergraduate researcher in Dr. Menegatti’s group as a part of the Global Engagement in Academic Research (GEAR) program. She worked on “Synthesizing and characterizing magnetically responsive polymers to engineer smart textiles” with Srivatsan Ramesh. She is a rising senior in Jilin University majoring in Biology who likes to travel and watch movies. She presented her work in the NC State Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium that was conducted on the 31st of July 2018. She intends to apply to a PhD program after the completion of her undergraduate degree.
