Ashton Lavoie: Life Science Award in Bioseparations Finalist

Our very own Ashton Lavoie has been selected as a finalist for the 2018 Life Science Award in Bioseparations. This award is given to an exceptional graduate student with outstanding, innovative research in bioseparations. She is invited on a fully funded trip to Darmstadt, Germany to present her cutting-edge research to a selection committee, who will then choose the winner. Finalists receive a $2,000 prize and the grand prize winner receive $10,000. Congratulations Ashton!

Ryan Smith named NSF I-Corps Fellow

Congratulations to Ryan Smith for being named NSF I-Corps Fellow at NC State Office of Technology Commercialization & New Ventures.  This program helps extend the focus of scientists and engineers beyond the laboratory and accelerates the impact of projects moving  towards commercialization.
